Valuing lounges and other perks
Lounges, club visits, companion certificates, and similar perks are assignable passives: you decide what they’re worth this card year (or accept a catalog suggestion) so they can count toward beating the fee.
Where they live
Section titled “Where they live”- Needs you — waiting for Accept suggested / Set my value, or a punch card you haven’t logged yet
- Active — once you’re counting (accepted, custom value, or punched visits) — stays visible so you can keep managing it
- Passive — lounges/status without a market suggestion (e.g. Capital One Lounge) where you Set a value
Accept suggested / Set my value
Section titled “Accept suggested / Set my value”Finish any issuer enrollment outside Flyga first (Priority Pass activation, etc.). On Benefits, assignable rows with a catalog suggestion show:
- Accept suggested — use the market figure (Priority Pass ~$469/yr)
- Set my value — custom annual $ via Set annual value
- Don’t count — leave it out of Claimed (hides the row from Needs when still uncounted)
Once counting, the row moves to Active with Change value and Don’t count (clears the value). Unrated passives (no suggestion) use Set a value instead. Be honest about how you’ll use the perk.
Punch cards (per unit)
Section titled “Punch cards (per unit)”Some perks are capped by visits or passes — Delta Sky Club visits, Admirals Club / United Club passes, TravelBank or Turo punch cards, quarterly Alaska lounge/Wi‑Fi packs.
- Punch — primary one-tap control that logs +1 visit/pass immediately (disabled at the cap)
- Change punches / Log visits… — open the quantity stepper when you need an exact count
- Don’t count — clear punches so the perk stops counting toward Claimed
Flyga multiplies logged units by the suggested unit $ (e.g. Sky Club $50/visit, up to 10/yr). Counting punch cards stay under Active, not Used — so you can keep punching through the year.
What counts toward net
Section titled “What counts toward net”Once you assign a value (or accept a suggestion / punch visits) and the perk is tracking, those dollars help Claimed. Unrated passives stay out of the fee bar — same spirit as the in-app net-of-fee note.
